Mary, This is interesting. I use gmail for this list, and always see my own messages, attached to the original thread. Just re-reading your message again, I see you are referring to an original message sent from gmail. I don't think I've sent an original post to this UG since I began using gmail, just replies to others, so perhaps that's why this problem hasn't arisen for me. I would imagine, though, that every user should see copies of all their own messages to a UG.
