Each time I add a new person to my database (version 6), I get this error:
Error getting next deleted RIN.
Error 3021: No current record.
Would you like to TRY IT AGAIN?
Selecting "yes" just gets me a repeat of the same error message, "no" sees the
allocation of a new number and I can continue. The number allocated appears to
be the next at the very end of the numbering sequence for the entire database
(507 is the number allocated as I write, and that's about the number of people I
have recorded).
I'm sure there's an easy answer to this, probably to delete a particular file in
order to have it reconstructed, but I'm hesitant to make a stab at which file
without consulting here first (or maybe there are no "empty" numbers in the
sequence waiting to be allocated?). Suggestions from knowledgeable people
welcomed. :-)
Kind Regards,
Wendy Howard
