Hi William, I was very interested in your comments about porting the nxt to Java asap. We too made a big investment in the Mindstorms kit, from my recommendation, however we use the Robolab software. I have also used the kits with my IB group, who now are required to learn Java. Time constraints have prevented me from developing a full program of study but by referencing Brians' excellent core Lego Mindstorms programming book I have been able to provide them with some basic OOP concepts. The students get a real kick out of creating their robots and seeing their programming breathing life into it. I would be very interested in hearing more about your book.
