I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is.
The problem is with the driver, right? I have limited experience with
such, but I'm willing to try, as long as someone can give me more
details on the exact nature of the problem.
Just so you all know, I'm going to be pretty busy until the end of
the month (my university is arranging a Mindstorm competition, where
the actual event is the 29th). I'll probably be giving most of my
attention to the competition until then. After that, I'll be able to
concentrate more on leJOS 3 for Mac.

This issue is a matter of principle: Is leJOS a multi-platform
Mindstorms programming language/environment? Or is it an OS-specific
system that might, but might not, at some indeterminate point in the
future be ported to whatever OSes didn't make it in the first
release?
The answer to these questions answer weather or not leJOS must
include support for all OSes at any cost in all releases.
Speaking for myself, a leJOS release without Mac OS X support would
be about as useful as an umbrella in a hurricane. 100% of what I do
with Mindstorms is done through my trusty old iBook.
I see your point.
First, for me it is the same, just replace Mac OS X by Linux.
Then once upon a time I even pondered the question of buying some Mac
so I could work on Lejos and on Linux PPC drivers.
Now, I realise that, should leJOS 3 be released withoug Mac support,
I would be (almost) no worse off than I am now. Almost, becuase if I
try to collaborate on a project with someone using leJOS 3, then that
will most likely not work. Regardless, this is, as stated, a matter
of principle.
Maybe your principles can motivate you to do something about it
and help with the port in some way?
It is not that we are not trying to get the Mac on board.
