Tom, Please send me a copy of the code. Are the problems/changes you made succinct enough to be included in the Javadoc?
One of the things my students and I discussed this last semester is the following: In using the Navigator class, even if you do a good job of calibrating the class, there are always mechanical and environmental issues that cause positional uncertainty. It seems like it would be nice to include in the Navigator some known positional offset--so for example, if you know that every few feet your car drifts left, you might be able to calculate the drift using a filter algorithm, and feed the result to the Navigator to approximately correct the actual position. What do you think?
