Warning!

I have my NXT set up and it worked OK with the software provided. I
bought a Targus Bluetooth dongle and turned on Bluetooth on the NXT. I
then noticed that there was a 1.03 firmware release available so I
downloaded it using the USB cable (I hadn't figured out how to get
Bluetooth working inside Robolab yet.) I then went on to something else
while the firmware downloaded. After awhile into the download, I noticed
a clicking sound but didn't pay much attention. After about 10 minutes,
the clicking got annoying so I tried to figure out what it was. It was
the NXT clicking. My NXT does not turn on, it just clicks. I tried
removing the battery and pressing the reset button but that does not do
anything. Robolab doesn't recognize the NXT being there when it is
plugged in via the USB cable. However, when I just tried putting the
battery back in with it plugged in via the USB cable, a variety of
windows popped up on my monitor and it even tried to print something.
I've sent a message to NXT tech support but haven't received a response
yet. So, a word to the wise, don't download the firmware update until
this gets resolved.
