Emmanuel,
We have I2C sensors, including the Ultrasonic sensor, working in the
development version of lejos NXJ now. You can get the latest development
version from the lejos SVN repository in the snapshot directory. You need
snapshot/bin/lejos_nxt.bin, snapshot/lib/classes.jar and
snapshot/lib/jtools.jar. This version also has some sound support
(Sound.playTone).
I2C support is not yet complete, but it is sufficient to read the distance
value from the Ultrasonic sensor, the bearing from compass sensors, etc.
If you don't want to use the version from SVN, I expect to be doing another
alpha release in a week or two.

the NXT.
I have to make the NXT perfom some navigation tasks, with obstacle avoidance.
I program only in Java, using the Lejos firmware.
In order to preform the obstacle avoidance, I really need to use the
ultrasonic sensor.
Unfortunately, you haven't included it in your java classes yet.
I can read the raw value of the port but I don't know if it's relevant. (it
doesn't seem so)
Can I already use the ultrasonic sensor, and if not, when do you think it
will be available ?
