Hi all,

tonight I've tried to get the iCommand stuff communicating over bluetooth.
Just as I was writing a 'please help' kinda posting, going around all
ports once more to collect all the different errors or hangs in order to
describe them, all of a sudden the "<>" appears in the NXT screen. Oh
joy!! It finally worked. I like that, my little robot scaring the cats
while I'm actually controlling it with the cursor keys at my laptop... ;)

Just wanted to let everyone know; the actual port to use might just as
well be the last one as the first, the latter mentioned in the
instructions; the former doing the trick for me.

Secondly; anyone using rechargeble batteries? I sure do. Although the NXT
manual advises non-rechargebles. If I charge them fully, the NXT says
they're at 7.5. Ok. But then, tonight, I've basically only tried to
connect using bluetooth; only the screen has been on and I've restarted
the brick a couple of times. This made the brick come to the point of
displaying "low battery" within an hour. Does the brick have an issue with
displaying the correct energy ammount left when using rechargebles, or
what? Or are my rechargebles damned? They're supposed to deliver; they're
2400ths and 2100ths, killer rechargebles, and I'm using a recharger with
reactivation and preserving mechanisms....
allright I'm spamming across my point here;
Anyone experiencing the same? I'm really not too eager to start buying
batteries for the NXT... I'm a 'green' supporting guy.
surely not if the NXT is going to eat them likewise.

cheers,
Robbert
