Black, Gateway branded, front LED indicator, protective leather slipcase, and a USB "Y" cable. This drive is bus-powered, and has been tested with PowerPC, Intel, desktop, and laptop Macs, and has also been tested with both Windows/ DOS and Mac OS formatting. Works great. It has worked fine with every computer I've tried it with. I have never had to use the second USB connector on the "Y" cable in order to get it work. However, if you have one of those Mac laptops (like some Macbooks, apparently) that doesn't put out enough power through a single USB port to power a portable hard drive, this unit's "Y" cable can be used to plug it into 2 USB ports at once, getting you the extra power you need.
