I have a hinge adjustment tool for the Titanium PowerBooks. This tool
is used to adjust the tension on the hinges and it works to change the
alignment of the hinges so that the cover closes even with the lower
case.
The tool is pretty straight forward in its use and works well to
insure that the hinge tension is sufficient, and balanced from side to
side, It also makes it easier to insure the lid closes even with the
body. It is nothing fancy at all, simply a piece a bar stock with a
notch that will hook the hinge and allow you to manipulate it. What is
lacks in sophistication it makes up for in simple usability.
