This is a Lenovo thin USB 2 external CDRW / DVD Rom drive. It is
basically a laptop combo drive in an external case. I just found this
one that came in with 2 others that worked fine. Unfortunately, I do
not have a 5V 3A power supply to test it with. It does not work when
I hook up a different 5V 1A supply, but it may just be that the outer
diameter of the plug is wrong and not making contact. It looks unused
except for the fingerprints I put on it.
Included is the unit, which is black and looks completely unused, and
a padded case. No USB cable included, but it uses a standard USB B
cable and I may have one around that I can include, but no guarantee.
The other units from the same batch had specs of:
Read speed of 24X CD and 8X DVD
CD Write and ReWrite speeds up to 24x
It will also read DVD Ram disks.
It does say Lenovo on the bottom, but there is an IBM logo on the top.
I tested one on my DA and it works fine, but I do not know about
bootability, and can not test that.
How about $10 plus shipping. Any box that I come up with puts it over
1lb, so 2 lbs shipping weight. That means shipping runs from $5.00 to
9.00 to Washington state. I will ship anywhere, domestic or
international.
Paypal preferred, offers gladly considered.
