Hi Swappers,
A client needs the latest version of iLife ('09) for a graduate-level
Library Science class, but she doesn't have much cash, so I'm hoping
to work a trade. I have no idea what people might be interested in,
so if you're looking for something specific, shoot me an email.
Otherwise, here follows a brief list of possibilities, all of which
can be combined to reach the $40 value of iLife '09 currently
advertised at Amazon.com. (I'm also willing to sell any of the below
outright, so if you see something you want on the list, just make a
offer!)
1) Complete retail set of OS X Panther discs in box w/documentation
2) Apple Pro Speakers from an iMac G4
3) Many vintage PowerBooks (esp. 1400cs) and accessories (networking,
peripherals, power supplies, and spare parts)
4) For-parts PowerBook G3 Pismo - basically stripped, but includes
motherboard, LCD, and all plastics
5) For-parts iBook G3 with video issue - no idea of specs, but the
plastics are in good condition. Dead battery and working-but-not-
pretty power supply can be included
6) Apple Yo-Yo power supply for G3 'Books - my last one, but it's in
great shape and works very well
7) Third-party (MacAlly, I believe) power supply for G3 'Books. Works
great, perfect condition
8) Lots of Sys7-OS9 educational games/software. LOTS. Ranging from
preschool to high-school level
9) MIMO USB mini-monitor model UM710, almost new, in box. This is
worth about $60 - 75, but every time I've found a local buyer, they've
stood me up. Might as well swap it for something useful instead of
continuing to watch it gather dust (not literally; the screen
protector is still attached!)
10) PC stuff, which isn't really in the spirit of this list, so I
won't enumerate. But if you're looking for parts-laptops and/or
specific Windows PC peripherals, just ask.
Hoping someone out there can help me!
Sincerely,
Allison Payne
