My company upgraded to a Mac Mini server and now we have our old Xserve
available!
Specs are below, I've deleted a few items such as IP addresses and so on. I'm
in the process of wiping it clean now and installing 10.5 Server (Unlimited).
Will come with just the Xserve itself, although the system profiler report
below shows a monitor and keyboard, those are just plugged in while I do the
wipe/install. Includes two 500G disks (internal/Apple original) and one empty
drive bay. 3G memory (1G original, 2G extra purchased from OWC) and Combo
optical drive. All mounting hardware included, and will be shipped in the
original Apple box with original Apple packaging. Also includes the 10.5
Server install discs with serial number. I think I still have the 10.4 discs
too and maybe 10.3 which it came with from the factory.
Any questions, please ask. This server has been great for us, but it was time
to upgrade a bit, as it was the last piece of non-Intel and non-10.6 equipment
in our setup. But it's still a very solid workhorse!!!
Asking $500 plus shipping from Lincoln, Nebraska, 68502, or could certainly be
picked up locally. Would ship via UPS or FedEx Ground, whichever is
cheaper/your preference.
