Hi swappers, I'm looking for a deal on a PowerBook G4 12" model. My girlfriend is looking for a small, portable Mac for her art projects, and decided that a 12" AlBook would fit the bill for her.
The target machine should have at least these four specs: * 1.5 GHz G4 * Decent battery life (at least 2 hours) * Working optical drive (SuperDrive preferred, but Combo Drive acceptable) * Working AirPort/Bluetooth RAM, HDD size, and OS are unimportant. We will upgrade the machine with some parts, and will be installing Leopard on it. So even if you send us a machine with a dead hard drive or no RAM installed, or even a wiped drive, that's cool; as long as the four marked specs above are fulfilled, we'll consider it. Also, although superficial, a machine in good cosmetic condition is a plus. Our maximum budget is about $250 right now. We may be able to stretch to $275, but no further.
