Greetings all,
In my possession is a Macbook Pro, 15ā (non-retina), circa 2010 model with an I7 processor. I believe this is the model in question: http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/specs/macbook-pro-core-i7-2.66-aluminum-15-mid-2010-unibody-specs.html I used it long enough to verify that the dreaded discreet graphics chip was giving its tell-tale signs of failure, which it finally did. Not surprising as it spent most of its life being used by a videographer doing in-field production in Liberia for UNICEF. Beyond that the unit appeared to act fine on all counts. The screen display was in excellent condition, and the motherboard with all its native ports operated fine, with the exception of the graphics mentioned above. Optical drive excellent as was wireless and bluetooth. Keyboard excellent, and battery still held a good 3 hr.+ charge. Externally, the case was in hale physical condition with the exception of a fair amount of scuffing underneath - but, no large dings, dents or cracking anywhere. I presume this would make a really fine parts unit for someone wanting to restore another of the same vintage. The unit will be sent without a hard drive and RAM, but everything else is there for some excellent harvesting. Am asking only $45.00 plus actual shipping costs from Upland, IN 46989 If interested, contact me direct, and Iāāl get it out to you pronto. Thank you for reading.
