For sale: mid-2007 20" iMac - n.b. must pick up in NYC. I'm the original owner, - this has been my computer since 2008. It has lived in a smoke-free home, and was rarely moved. I finally got a new one, so this is for sale. Memory was upgraded and is running ok.
This machine actually ran a bit better on an older OS. When I upgraded to El Capitan, it started getting a little buggy. (all upgrades to this machine were done by my trusted tech). If you have the older OS to re-install, it would probably run better - I may possibly have a disc. The screen has a vertical blue line about 2 inches to the left of the right screen edge which comes and goes (recently it hasn't been showing up). Physically it's in great condition - no dents or nicks, etc. After being on for a while (day or two or more), and left idle, the screen may freeze (again, I think this is an OS issue). Details: Software: El Capitan Version 10.11.6 4 GB of Ram, 320 GB hard drive. Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Graphics : ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 Ram graphics Drive: working DVD/CD Superdrive. I will wipe all data. If you want it clean (no software), I can wipe the applications. I'll throw in the keyboard and a wireless 3rd-party mouse. Sold in as-is condition, you must pick up (upper west side of Manhattan). You accept the machine at your own risk. I am not a computer expert. My know-how is limited, but I can tell you it works, starts up, and all its components work. Programs run. It occasionally freezes (see above). There are no broken keys, no cracks in the glass, no missing pixels on the screen, etc. You are welcome to try it before you take it, it will be plugged in and ready to start up. Any questions, let me know. Asking $200 or best offer. Robin Green, New York, NY 10024 -- You received this message because you are a member of the LEM Swap group.
