I just came across the following, and don’t have a need for it. This is for local pickup only
This is a Quad core (2x2) 2.5 GHz liquid cooled G5. It originally shipped with the GeForce 6800 but has been upgraded to the nVidia Quadro FX 4500. 5GB ram, superdrive, etc. Currently has a 750 GB HD. The good (besides the specs). I took the first cover off of the processor bay and I did not see any signs of leakage. But I don’t know how to go deeper quickly. Overall case is in fairly good shape with scratches on one of the top handles, but nothing is bent. The bad Crap, this thing takes a different power cord than the regular. I do not have one. SO I CAN NOT TEST. But it was pulled from an office environment. The metal side panel is missing. If one from an earlier G5 will fit, I gan give one from another system. The video card clip is broken. The screws will hold it in place fine, just full disclosure. So, before I try and part it out, I will offer it as it it for local pick up only. If you have a power cord for it, you are more than welcome to swing by and test it out. How about $200. Offers gladly considered. If it doesn’t sell whole, I’ll be back to part it out.
