AirPort Extreme Base Station - Model A1408 Recently got this from a family member who has moved on to a different wireless router. It still works, but apparently the “reset” button on the back of the unit is not working, so I’m unable to reset the unit to factory defaults. A cursory internet search tells me that perhaps if I took the unit apart I would find that the external reset button is broken but that the unit could still be reset by shorting out the pins that the button presses. I’m not up for “another project”, so I’d like to pass this unit along to someone else that is so inclined. Includes the full power cord, and I can toss in a short ethernet cord if needed.
