Sorry for responding to the group, and not just Itinerant Illiterate, but I think it's necessary. The message below does say "Reply directly to the person who posted, never to the list." But in this case I am 'forwarding' to the list.
I am of the under the impression this list is to trade old stuff, stuff no longer needed, and/or no longer available. In this case, DiskWarrior 5.2 is still available. Anyone having it more than likely upgraded to a newer version for a reduced price, therefore can't legally sell their copy of 5.2 (see next few sentences before flaming me). The only people that can legally sell 5.2 are those that did not upgrade and don't plan to upgrade. Legally they should inform Alsoft of the sell to erase their history of purchase of 5.2, and also give all past copies of DiskWarrior used as prove of purchase to upgrade to 5.2. As 5.2 is still available, please support our developers, many of us depend on Alsoft/DiskWarrior to repair our disks, and without them we would SOL. Alsoft is/was an excellent company, and I liked Freehand much better than Adobe Illustrator, back in the day. I truly sorry/upset they sold out to Adobe, I hope it was worth it to them at the time. Unfortunately Adobe now has kind of a monopoly for that sort of software.
