I just posted the following on the Open Komodo Forum: http://community.activestate.com/forums/komodo/open-komodo
My hope is that with a little help Leo will be able to use the Komodo Code Intelligence system. It would be very cool. QQQ Hello friends, The Komodo autocompleter code is an admirable project: easy to use, well packaged, and oh so capable. Obviously, a ton of good work has gone into this project. I am the author of Leo, an Open Source editor written in Python: http://webpages.charter.net/edreamleo/front.html My dream is to incorporate the code intelligence system into Leo completely unchanged. Just a few lines of code have brought me about 90% of the way to being able to drive the autocompleter, but the last 10% is problematic at present. Before going further, I'd like to ask, is this project is alright with you? I do hope so. Autocompletion would be of great help both to Leo and to all the members of the pyxides project: http://pyxides.stani.be/ Also, is this the place to ask for help in interfacing with the autocompleter? Thanks, @@@ Edward P.S. The "few lines of code" are in trunk/leo/src/Komodo.leo, in the node 'Komodo test script'.
