I suggest a single character indicator be used instead.  Perhaps a
trailing '+' character (ex. @thin+).  I assume there are other users
like me that use Leo's vertical layout with a narrow outline pane.
Using '@shadow-thin' will cause the headline to become too long to be
visible in the pane.
