I like this idea.  It's relatively easy to do, and it might provide a kind
of non-sentinel sentinel.  It's related to the idea of converting headlines
to comments in @nosent files, which was one of the conversations that got me
interested in @shadow again.  I'll keep it in the back of my mind as I work
on shadow files.
