There are several reasons why I'm excited about this capability:

1. Leo is used for many languages besides Python.

2. Templates can reduce typing errors, like forgetting colons in
Python.

3. Code templates are a nice "wow" for demos.

4. Templates would be an ideal extension/replacement for Leo's old
selfInsertCommand method.  That method is what we lose in safe mode,
so templates would allow safe mode to continue "forever".

P.S. An obvious extension would be @template nodes in Leo's settings
files.
