As the result of recent helpful discussions, it is now clear to me that the qt plugin will be completed when:
1. all unit tests pass and 2. the crucial qt plugin event-handlers have proven themselves to be rock solid. Unless I am mistaken, Leo's core is now fully hooked up to the qt plugin, and vice versa. The qt event handlers have a reasonable claim to be as simple as possible, and there are no items on the to-do list that affect those event-handlers. So it is time to work on unit tests. Anything else would be a diversion. The unit tests will tell me what essential features, if any, remain to be completed. It's that simple. I estimate that the qt plugin will be complete in the sense just described in about a week.
