Unfortunately, that didn't work for me either with the qt plugin.  If
no one else is seeing a problem with either importing or reading @thin
files, I'll just assume it's something with my installation.  As I've
mentioned, the tk version is able to import and read @thin files so
I'll stick to it for the time being.
