Just to close this out (for my own sanity). It is 100% reproducible
for me on both Windows and Ubuntu that importing an @thin file
initially loads an outline with no detail beyond the top level nodes
that exist in the @thin file. If I save the resulting .leo file and
then reopen it, the full detail of the @thin file appears although it
is a bit nerve wracking since it does raise the concern on the initial
save that the empty outline will overwrite the existing @thin file.
With the tk gui, the @thin file is there in all its glory when you
import or initially read it while with qt it is not. It may be a rare
enough event that people are creating new @thin nodes from existing
@thin files but, for the record, for me, the qt and tk guis from the
current trunk behave differently when doing this.
