The new plan is to release Leo 4.6 b3 Friday, and rc1 maybe a week later. Please post only doc changes or significant bug fixes to the trunk until further notice. No "improvements", no matter how nifty, please.
I can't justify calling the next release rc1. The code is not stable enough, and there are too many recent reports of serious data-loss problems. Imo, we are not ready for *any* official release until we are certain that recent changes are not actively dangerous. There was a fiasco with an rc release several years ago, and I never, ever, want to go through that again. If you, like me, suffer withdrawal symptoms if you can't code for a day, I suggest using a bzr branch :-) Edward --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
