Alright, then you could start using @thin or @nosent, probably. At
least check them out. Go to Help -> open quickstart.leo and click
around a bit. You'll probably find them much simpler to use than
@root.

It usually helps to test the development version occasionally, to see
if it makes a "bad turn" that breaks the stuff you like. Your
situations could be just about some plugin(s) being disabled.

They appear on console when you starting leo. So now they are probably gone :-(.
