I just fixed a long-standing complaint. When writing x.leo, write_Leo_file previously created x.leo.bak, even if x.leo.bak already existed.
Now, Leo always creates a system-generated temporary file with tempfile.mkstemp. So now you can create your own .leo.bak files without worry. Edward
