Hmm, having just been playing around with code in that area while fixing qt_nav I thought I'd look at that, but it seems more complicated than I expected. - the link from the button to p is in a closure kind of callback, so there isn't a p to look up as such - I don't understand off hand why the code works, since I'd have expected a link via p to break as positions don't outlive changes to the outline Interesting.
