As part of this testing I've just added a really nice addition to the
"Recovered Nodes" scheme.  The parent node of each old/new pair now
contains a diff, in human-readable difflib.Differ format.  This makes
it much easier to see exactly what has changed.  I've wanted to do
this for a long time...

As an experiment, no such "Recovered" nodes are generated if the old
and new code differ only by a single trailing newline.  This is useful
in the present situation because all nodes in the new scheme end with
a trailing newline (no @nonl or @nl nodes get generated.)  I think
this may be best anyway, but it would be easy to rescind this choice.
