I apologise if I have missed some obvious note that I should have read - if that is the case, please feel free to point me at the relevant documentation.
Having just watched a screencast demonstrating Leo, I thought I'd give it a try. So I downloaded the Windows installer. I was surprised when it said "Python not found - assuming C:\Python26". On the machine I was trying it out on, I didn't have Python installed, so I installed a copy, but I used Python 2.7 - the version I have on my main machine. Unfortunately, I still get the same message. Hence my questions: 1. Does Leo require Python 2.6? 2. If so, why isn't it bundled in the installer? I don't particularly want to have to maintain an extra installed copy of Python just for Leo. 3. If I do install Python 2.6, will I be expected to locate and install all of the necessary dependencies (I see that one is PyQT)? If so, is there a list anywhere of what is required? Thanks, Paul. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
