There is one rule which, imo, has no significant exceptions.  Avoid
the !...@#$% passive voice.  It just *kills* readability.

I don't believe I am responsible for the majority of passive
constructions in Leo's docs.  Note for doc writers, *whatever* else
you do, avoid the passive voice!
