On second thought, I see that allowing multiple selections would change the environment for all of Leo's outline commands. And what body text is supposed to be associated with these selections? It's not going to happen for Leo 4.8, and I see no obvious way to make it work ever. This is not just an implementation issue, it would fundamentally change Leo.
