Multiple selections was already included in Leo until a few days ago when it 
was disabled in favor of DnD, prior to Ville's first commit on that it was 
possible to drag-select multiple nodes.  The issues you raise are valid, of 
course, and have been explored in the context of the contextmenu.py delete 
command, which is multi-select sensitive.

Multi-select isn't very important when editing code, but for organizing 
data/concepts/tokens it can be very useful.  In the outline below, how would 
you most easily rearrange the fruit?
