The phrase "just do it" now actually means something. Let me explain :-) I am writing the "External Files" slideshow as follows: 1. I open a **follow along** Leo file. In this case, it is workbook.leo, an "empty" Leo file. 2. I go through the steps, *in detail* of creating an @edit node. 3. At each step, I create an @slide ((description node in LeoDocs.leo That's it!! This is a big breakthrough in communication for me. Each slide is simple, straightforward, but the overall effect is something **completely new** in Leo's documentation. It's as if somebody is looking over my shoulder as I work. There is nothing difficult to explain. There is no curse of knowledge. *Everything* gets explained because the helper outline forces me to explain all significant changes. It's fast, because I'm not actually taking screenshots at this stage. That will come later. I'll save the follow along outline as a "note" in the LeoDocs.leo to remind me of what I did. That's probably not necessary though, as the (short!) commentary in the @slide nodes make it pretty clear what I did. Edward P.S. I have just completed a revision of Joe Orr's installation slideshow. This has no screenshots, so there was no need to open a "follow along" Leo outline. I'll create all other slideshows as just describe.
