It is already an essential tool: it properly associates wink screenshots with @slide nodes. This is a tricky business: it would be impossible to do it reliably by hand. At present, the meld script does not delete .. image:: directives in the @slide nodes. Perhaps it should, on the theory that: a) the make-slide or make-slide-show command will insert .. image:: directives and b) there is little likelihood of of wanting two screenshots in a single slide. In any case, we are ready to start the "shoot" using Wink. Edward P.S. It struck me yesterday how far we have veered away from the original plan. We no longer specify screenshots with @screenshot nodes. Instead, we assume an @slide node will have a **Wink** screenshot **unless** it contains an @no-screenshot node. In other words, the whole idea of taking screenshots automatically with @screenshot trees is a bust. Ditto for @pause and @edit But that doesn't matter! We have exactly what we need, namely a way to create slides using rST that contain screenshots. Furthermore, @url nodes remain fabulously useful. It's a snap to edit screenshots at any time with Inkscape. EKR -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
