Thanks for your reply. Even if the qt version of Leo could colorize urls, it wouldn't make them active. Presumably there is a way to do this, but I can't take the detour now. The workaround for now is to use @url nodes. It's now possible (recommended) to put the actual url's in the body pane, and a description in the headline.
