The question of what bindings to use is not interesting--we don't discuss preferences. Imo, there is little reason to continue the discussion further. I am probably aware of all the details and possibilities. The goals of the vim-bind branch, which I have just created, are as follows: 1. Allow more flexible bindings: for example, bindings as sequences of keys, as in vim and to a lesser extent emacs. 2. To indicate these bindings automagically in menus, 3. To simplify the code (heh, heh), 4. To support all of Tom's vim-related requests. 5. To fix all binding-related bugs, and to simplify, if possible, how bindings get specified. It's conceivable that removing support for Tk would help, but that is not clear. If it does help, I will indeed consider making Leo Qt only, but that will happen only after all existing Tk plugins get ported to Qt.
