Good day to all!
I just discovered LEO and indeed the learning curve is very steep.
However I feel LEO has wonderful potential and I'm ready to spend the
time to find its ful benefits (I'm organizing my thoughts to create a
new application - for my own education - and I like the OUTLINE
presentation of LEO that allows top-down and bottom-up and transversal
thinking.

Just a few questions from a newbie (I'm not better in Python either
but I like it very much):

1) I just get the message:
"can not read 3.x derived file ....
you may upgrade these files using Leo 4.0 through 4.4.x"
I'm using the 4.8 final version.

2) I'm trying to understand that a node @file myfile.txt keeps
synchronized with the external file myfile.txt, e.g. when editing it
with Notepad. I don't see the synchronization! LEO in a NUTSHELL says
"You can update the external file by writing the Leo outline connected
to it, or you can update the outline by changing the external file."
I'm lost here.

3) The doc says "rightclick on the node and chose refresh to disk".
There is no such choice on the right click menu.

4) If I create a node "@mystuff bla bla bla" what does it mean ? How
different is it from "mystuff bla bla bla".

5) Can I import a directory to a node so that it expands automatically
in @file children ?

Thank you in advance.
Rene
