On second thought, the simplest thing that could possibly work will be to deprecate Tk entirely. All that needs to be done is to port a few plugins from Tk to Qt, and change (simplify) the startup logic that creates the gui. This will be done in the b2 release, not in 4.10. It will give me something to do while testing b1. It's looking like b1 will go out the door before June 1. I estimate b2 will happen a week or two later.
