Interestingly, double-clicking the .leo file results in a Windows error, but loading the file from within Leo works fine, and dragging works as expected. I get a similar Windows error trying to open the .leo file from the usually-reliable Scite editor, but jEdit opens the file without incident. I'll check on Ubuntu soon. What platform are you using?
