Yes, that particular problem has mostly been solved.  Otherwise we
could not collaborate at all.

However, sharing .leo files themselves is not so easy: we have to
resort to the "reference" .leo file convention.  In a way, reference
files are like project files, but using them is a bit more
complicated.

Furthermore, collaboration typically involves sharing, and Leo's
clones, while very useful, sometimes make that sharing more difficult.

I agree.

Well, the concept of *your* files is a bit dubious in a collaborative
environment :-)

So do I, but problems have a way of changing given slight changes in
purpose.  For instance, documentation in the program itself may be
very sparse (especially in Leo, because context shows so much), but
user documentation is likely to be much more verbose.
