For example, SciTe's menus talk of local, global and user options. This *terminology* is "lighter" than Leo's terminology (leoSettings.leo, myLeoSettings.leo, etc.) and it would probably make sense to emulate it. Of course, that doesn't make SciTe's settings easier to use than Leo's: SciTe gives you endless lists of settings, organized only by the usual feeble organizer comments.
