For a long time (I believe at least since release 4.7), the "node-
selection foreground color" for the Outline Pane has been black. That
is, the foreground color of the node headline in the currently
selected node when its headline is NOT open for editing is black.
This makes most "themes" unusable because their "selection background"
colors are so dark that the headline in the selected node is
unreadable.

Today using Leo-Editor Rev 4659 with Ubuntu 11.10, Gnome 3, Python
2.7.2, qt version 4.7.3---I finally began trying to work around this
problem and to my extreme frustration, I find that the Log Pane and
Body Pane "selection foreground color" is white--just what I want.
And when a headline is open for editing, the "selection foreground
color" is white--just what I want.

In addition there are color settings in leoSettings.leo for Body Pane
colors and for Log Pane colors, so I could tweak some Body Pane and
Log Pane colors. But there are no color settings for the Outline
Pane, much less for "node-selection foreground color." How can I
tweak any of the Output Pane colors? In particular, how do I tweak
the "node-selection foreground color."

I must be missing some important, basic information. Like why is the
"node-selection foreground color" what it is when this has appeared to
me to be a serious mistake for so long?
