In leoSettings.leo I changed
Node:
@data qt-gui-plugin-style-sheet
Body (only relevant contents shown):
QTreeWidget {
selection-color: black; /* was white */
--- End Body ---
In the body above I changed "black" to "white".
This did exactly what I wanted to do. For both focus-not-in-outline-
pane and focus-in-outline-pane, the node-selected foreground color
changed from black to white.
