Maybe it's just because I tend to use editors that work this way by
default, I've never run into line ending issues before, but colleagues have
started complaining to me about my files (good ol' Notepad). Or if I'm
doing something wrong, please let me know - I've recently started
experimenting with Terry's active_path, but I don't believe that's an issue.
I would like a "meta" setting to control Leo's line-ending munging, so that
I can choose either
- whatever the line endings are on a pre-existing file should be
respected when I edit and save the file
or (current behaviour)
- Leo should always apply my "hardcoded" choice, auto-converting all
files it outputs, including pre-existing ones
Side note:
I suppose this would also lead to someone wanting commands to explicitly
switch a file from one to the other
- or hey, what about a directive like @language that can apply only to
specific different branches?
(goes to search in the various .leo files)
Aha! @lineending - but this appears to only apply to the reST stuff,
which I haven't delved into yet - possible to generalize this?
