Can't find any documentation on these nodes, and all variations of

@settings
   @data global-abbreviation
   @data abbreviation
   @global-abbreviation
   @abbreviation

have no apparent effect (there are @data global-abbreviation nodes in
leoSettings.leo).

Defining abbreviations manually using abbrev-add-global works.

UPDATE: I did find some apropos help, but it didn't.

Also, I don't understand what dabbrev-expands is supposed to do.  Seems
if I type

  here's an annoyinglylongword, don't want to type anno

and then execute dabbrev-expands, it should expand anno to
annoyinglylongword, but it doesn't.
