I use web documentation constantly (when available and when current)
for the programs I use. I also definitely like help available right
here right now on this thing in front of me at the moment.

Generally the online docs are useful to me because I have them open in
a separate application that can be arranged to the side or on another
display; a simple [alt-tab] lets me flip between my work and the docs;
I can move around in my work and/or the documentation while the other
remains put; the doc window can be resized at will without affecting
work, ditto for shrinking or enlarging font size (available with quick
[ctrl-plus/minus]; and finally the searching experience is often
better online.

In context help right here right now is better when I need a quick
refresher, the correct syntax/spelling and so on. Going to web docs
for this is a pain.

I guess this could be summarized as, for me, web pages are for
learning, and in-context is for remembering. Both are important.
