Here is my install experience on a win Vista x86 laptop:
python not Found - OK.
Welcome to the Leo Setup Wizard
choose components (default all selected)
Choose install location (C:\Program Files\Leo-5.0-a1)
Choose python location (browse to c:\python34)
Start menu leo button works fine and leo opens:
Leo Log Window (default open)
Leo 5.0a1, build 20141105174046, Wed Nov 5 17:40:46 CST 2014
Not running from a git repo
Python 3.4.2, PyQt version 5.3.1
Windows Vista x86 (build 6.0.6002) SP2
leoID=lewis (in C:\Users\Neal\.leo)

global config dir: C:\Program Files\Leo-5.0-a1\leo\config

can not open C:\Program Files\Leo-5.0-a1\leo
No buttons are visible, and no plugins are loaded.
When I open an existing leo file it opens with only one node called
'created root node'. It doesn't show all it's data.
